Closer - Song Story
The process and journey in writing Closer was quite a surreal one, it is one of the songs I got the revelation way after I finished writing it. So here is the heart behind the song! "I had come to the end of myself felt all hope was lost Overwhelmed and confused Then You came and wiped my years away Gave me a song in the night Silenced all my fears" In our daily lives we sometimes go through rough patches, heartbreaks, dry seasons and we lose hope in the process and we come to the end of ourselves. As believers we sometimes try to find solutions to problems without looking to God, At times He will watch us fight and squirm. He will observe us struggle and wrestle until we come to the very end. He wants us at the place where we finally conclude it’s too much, where we just can’t take it anymore.
